Federal Way Twin Lakes — Backlit Clouds and Lake Reflection

Backlit cloudbanks and a low sun silhouette the shoreline at Twin Lakes in Federal Way, WA. A central fountain and a cluster of ducks disturb the glassy surface while tall evergreens and houses form dark silhouettes and mirrored reflections across the lake. Dramatic rim light on the clouds casts warm gold and cool blue tones across the water for a moody, high-contrast scene.
