View across Commencement Bay to the Ruston neighborhood shoreline in Tacoma, WA, with a small leisure boat on calm water in the foreground and the snow‑capped bulk of Mount Rainier rising behind the hillside homes and low-rise buildings. Clear blue sky with light atmospheric haze around the mountain; visible piers and waterfront residences on the Ruston slope.
