Twin‑prop air tanker releases a dark plume of water/retardant through thick smoke above a stand of conifer trees near Millwood in Spokane Valley, WA. The aircraft is silhouetted against a hazy sky while smoke and spray obscure the landscape; utility poles and treetops are visible at the lower edge of the frame.
